Bio

Dexter Barker-Glenn is a multidisciplinary artist based in the unceded territory of Tiohtià:ke (Montreal) and Tkaronto (Toronto). He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University with a minor in Computer Science. Dexter is interested in the products of intersecting desires, offering objects stuck between multiple functions. Often contrasting industrial and handmade production, his work questions the limits of the personal and intimate. Dexter recently presented a solo show Wolves at Hawkins HQ in Atlanta, GA. Recent group shows include Bradley Ertaskiran and FOFA gallery in Montreal, The Plumb and Hunt Gallery in Toronto, and AXENÉO7 in Ottawa.
